Purpose

The International Network of Clinical Sociology (RISC) aims at supporting the development of clinical sociology in all fields, research, intervention, training, publications, by multiplying the links and relations between researchers, students and practioners, as well as contacts with other approaches.

Established in 2014 as a voluntary organization (not-for-profit association according to the French Law of 1901), currently based in Paris (France), the RISC gathers sociologists and other specialists in human and social sciences (researchers and/or practitioners) giving a socioclinical orientation to their work. It represents and advocates clinical sociology in various countries, in national and international institutions and organizations.
