“Conference Overview:<\/b>
\nWith the global pandemic of COVID-19, we are experiencing challenges in every sphere of our lives. Challenges are more prevalent among socially vulnerable groups; for example, the elderly, people with chronic disease or disabilities, and the poor. The APSA 2020 organised a two-day webinar to be held on October 6th and 7th. The broad themes of the Webinar are Covid-19 impacts on health and society; and Covid-19, Climate and City. Several distinguished scholars are presenting at the session. You are invited to participate and contribute to this conversation from a sociological perspective.<\/div>\n
\nThe Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines: Investing in Climate & Disaster Resilience (CCARPH), a transdisciplinary action research project under the Office of the President of Ateneo de Manila University, is co-hosting the 15th Asia Pacific Sociological Association 2020 Two-day Webinar on COVID-19, Climate, and Health. This event is co-hosted by the International Sociological Association RC 15 (Sociology of Health), RC 46 (Clinical Sociology), the Philippine Sociological Society, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the Ateneo de Manila University, the Seisa University, the Chulalongkorn University, the University of Sydney, and the University of the Philippines \u2013 Visayas.” (Source: 15th Asia Pacific Sociological Association 2020)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
