from the IAS<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clinical sociologist will participate ot the APSA 2021 conference (15-16 November 2021, Manila, via ZOOM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span id=\"page134R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">theme <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">APSA <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2021 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">conference <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Solidarity <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Collaboration <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">among <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Sociologists <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in Asia <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Pacific: <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Towards <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Resilience <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Inclusive <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Development<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">While <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">social <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fragmentation, inequality and discrimination are occurring on a global scale, COVID<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">19 and the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">climate crisi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">s are also<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">accelerating their negative impacts to our health, economy, and risk <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">governance systems. <\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">A<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">midst<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">these trends, it is important for sociologists and other social <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">scientists in the Asia<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Pacific region to share their problems and engage in dialogue <\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to resolve <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">them<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For more information, see:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"T37FsC6scz\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/apsasociology.wordpress.com\/2021\/11\/10\/16th-asia-pacific-sociological-association-2021\/\">16th Asia-Pacific Sociological Association Conference&nbsp;2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
